Well hit up my first run of the Otra River, Norway on Tuesday. It flows past TrollAktiv; the outdoor centre that I am working at over the summer –
www.trollaktiv.no . Nice short, big volume run (which is good as the lake that feeds the river still has ice on it) with two or three, 9+ footers depending on lines and flows. Going to be fun times on the river. The photo above is yours truely hitting up the first slide into boof drop. Having to scrounge gear at the moment as mine is still in transit, do have my new helmet though and yes that is a plastic paddle. Stay tuned!
